When the director of operations, Cieran, contacted us on a warm summers evening to discuss a possible branding project, we hit it off right away.
A clean, minimalist and sleek sports performance brand is what Cieran was looking for, and after some back and forth brainstorming, “ALLI”, was given its new brand image.
We approached this logo design a little different, and went against the grain of your usual icons, text and “oh let’s make that a bit bolder”. We sent a heap of logos across to Cieran, not in the hopes he’d pick one and we’d be done, but instead pick and choose various elements from each logo to combine into one logo that could be used across a breadth of platforms.
To create a clean, modern and minimalist brand with a logo that can be used on both negative and inverted backgrounds.
It was important that the logo could be inverted and used on a black background, as this gives the brand maximum flexibility, whether it’s tattoed onto a Mr Olympia, or embroidered onto the latest gym wear.
Our final outcome for the ALLI brand was almost so simple it was hard to believe we’d spent so much time in producing it, however as the brief requested, it had to be simplistic, clean and work on every type of background. With an icon implemented inside the actual typography, it gives the brand opportunity to split off and use the icon across Facebook, Instagram and other social media icons.
