Single Cost – Logo Design Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to the attached order form, which outlines the logo design to be provided.
Black Tiger Creative Ltd (“Company”) will provide logo design services based on the Client’s creative brief. This includes initial design concepts and up to five rounds of revisions to refine the final logo.
1.1. Bolt-On Services
If applicable, Black Tiger Creative agrees to provide any additional bolt-on services as outlined in the order form. Where no such services are listed, this clause does not apply. Any further additions, amendments, or requests for services outside of the agreed scope will be subject to additional charges, which will be confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of the additional work.
The Client agrees to provide a clear, detailed brief, all necessary materials, and timely feedback at each stage to ensure a smooth design process.
Black Tiger Creative is committed to maintaining open and timely communication throughout the design process. The Client agrees to respond to communication and feedback requests promptly to ensure efficient progress on the project. Regular updates will be provided as needed to keep the Client informed of developments. If there are any significant delays or changes, both parties agree to communicate in advance wherever possible.
The Client is entitled to up to four rounds of revisions once the initial logo concepts have been provided. A “revision” is defined as a substantial change that alters the overall design or layout. Minor adjustments, including but not limited to small colour, font, or spacing tweaks, will not be classed as a full revision unless deemed significant by Black Tiger Creative. Any additional revisions beyond the four included rounds will incur a charge of £75 per revision.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total project fee is required before any design work begins. The remaining balance is due upon the Client’s approval of the final design and must be paid before the final files are delivered.
Ownership of the final logo design, along with all associated rights, transfers to the Client upon full payment. Black Tiger Creative reserves the right to feature the final logo in its portfolio and marketing materials unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
The 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. If the Client decides to cancel the project after work has commenced, this deposit will not be refunded. If Black Tiger Creative is, for any reason, unable to complete the project as outlined in the brief, the deposit remains non-refundable; however, any remaining balance will be waived. This waiver will only be granted if Black Tiger Creative has been afforded adequate time and opportunity to address and resolve any concerns raised, and it is at the sole discretion of the Company to determine whether this condition has been met.
If the Client does not provide required information or feedback for more than 90 days, the project will be considered inactive and closed. Any deposits paid will be retained as compensation for time and resources invested. Should the Client wish to resume the project after this period, it will be treated as a new engagement, requiring a new deposit and adherence to current pricing.
Additionally, where the majority of the project, typically 90 percent or more as determined at the discretion of Black Tiger Creative Ltd, has been completed, and progress is delayed for more than 14 days due to outstanding content, assets, approvals, or feedback required from the Client, the remaining balance shall become immediately due.
Upon receipt of full payment, any outstanding items forming part of the originally agreed scope may be completed and delivered as part of final delivery. This clause applies only to content, amendments, or changes already agreed in writing and does not entitle the Client to ongoing updates, revisions, or additional work beyond the original project scope.
All design work produced by Black Tiger Creative under this agreement is exclusively tied to the project as outlined in the Client’s initial brief. Any requests for additional or unrelated designs beyond the agreed scope will be considered a separate project, requiring a new order form and additional deposit as per Black Tiger Creative’s current pricing.
Black Tiger Creative’s liability for any claim related to this project will not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the logo design service. The Company is not liable for indirect damages or additional costs arising from the use of the logo.
By engaging Black Tiger Creative for logo design services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
